description

Check Point Quantum Security Gateway is affected by a certificate trust validation flaw during VPN negotiation. An unauthenticated remote attacker may be able to execute code on a gateway by reaching the vulnerable VPN negotiation path.

mitigation

Restrict access to VPN negotiation services to trusted networks and monitor gateway VPN activity for unexpected connections. Apply the vendor's security update when it becomes available; no fixed version is recorded in the advisory.
