description

vCast APK delivery on ViewBoard devices is affected. A remote party without credentials can use the download interface to cause installation of an APK obtained from an attacker-controlled location. The endpoint must be reachable by the attacker.

mitigation

Restrict the vCast download interface to trusted networks or block access to it where it is not required. Apply a vendor update when one is available; the evidence does not identify a fixed version.
