description

IBM Watson Speech Services Cartridge versions 4.0.0 through 5.4.0 are affected by a memory-safety flaw. An attacker able to reach a vulnerable deployment could potentially run code remotely; the available evidence does not indicate a required account or user interaction.

mitigation

Restrict network access to affected cartridge deployments to trusted clients and isolate them from untrusted networks. Monitor IBM for a corrected release and upgrade promptly when it is available.
