description

IBM DataStage on Cloud Pak for Data 5.4.0.0 is affected by an OS command injection flaw. A remote authenticated user may be able to run commands on the affected system when they can reach the vulnerable functionality.

mitigation

Restrict DataStage access to trusted, least-privileged authenticated users and limit network reachability until an update is applied. Monitor IBM's remediation guidance and upgrade to its designated fixed release when available.
