CVE-2026-74759
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.GHSA-p2f2-c96p-7p43 ↗EUVD-2026-114873 ↗
description
Google::Auth 0.12 for Perl is affected when it loads AWS external-account credentials from a configuration that is not fully trusted. An attacker able to influence that configuration can cause the application to send requests to chosen hosts, including internal or metadata services.
mitigation
Do not accept external-account credential configurations from untrusted sources, and restrict outbound network access from affected processes to required endpoints. Upgrade when a corrected Google::Auth release is published; no fixed version is recorded.
outcome
Contextual check: a technique exists and was validated, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
source signals
Public signals that triggered or updated the pipeline. These are inputs for the deltas above.
