description

Apache Juneau REST client components juneau-rest-client and juneau-rest-common through 9.2.0 may preserve sensitive request headers when following redirects. A redirecting server could thereby receive credentials at another host or port, or after a downgrade to an unencrypted connection; exposure requires use of an HTTP client created through the RestClient builder.

mitigation

Upgrade org.apache.juneau:juneau-rest-client and org.apache.juneau:juneau-rest-common to 9.2.1. For applications that provide their own HTTP client, disable automatic redirects or remove credential headers whenever a redirect changes the request origin.

fixed in 9.2.1
