CVE-2026-69210
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.GHSA-3j86-pj9g-jchr ↗EUVD-2026-79192 ↗
description
http4s-core versions before 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47 can mishandle certain extended WebSocket frame lengths when used by an Ember server. A remote client that has completed a WebSocket handshake can cause a worker to loop while CPU and memory consumption grow, disrupting service.
mitigation
Upgrade org.http4s:http4s-core_2.12 to 0.23.35 or later. Upgrade the 2.13 and Scala 3 variants to 0.23.35 or 1.0.0-M47 or later.
fixed in 0.23.35, 1.0.0-M47
outcome
Contextual check: a technique exists and was validated, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
