CVE-2026-69209
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.GHSA-jrxx-w2m8-5hf5 ↗EUVD-2026-79173 ↗
description
Affected http4s Ember Core versions can buffer excessively large or fragmented WebSocket messages without adequate bounds. A remote client that has completed a WebSocket handshake can consume server memory and disrupt service; a reachable WebSocket endpoint is required.
mitigation
Upgrade org.http4s:http4s-ember-core_2.12 to 0.23.35 or later, and upgrade the 2.13 or 3 variants to 0.23.35 or 1.0.0-M47 or later. For Ember Server deployments, configure an appropriate maximum WebSocket message size.
fixed in 0.23.35, 1.0.0-M47
outcome
Contextual: an exploit technique exists, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
