CVE-2026-66858
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.GHSA-hfqq-j57v-2292 ↗EUVD-2026-91585 ↗
description
Apache Thrift releases before 0.25.0 are affected in the Python C++ accelerator and the PHP, Perl, Lua, Smalltalk, and OCaml bindings; pure-Python protocols are excluded. An attacker who can send Thrift messages to a service using an affected binding may exhaust the process stack through deeply recursive unknown data.
mitigation
Upgrade Apache Thrift to version 0.25.0 or later. Prioritize services that accept untrusted Thrift messages through an affected binding.
fixed in 0.25.0
outcome
Contextual: an exploit technique exists, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
source signals
Public signals that triggered or updated the pipeline. These are inputs for the deltas above.
