CVE-2026-63209
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.GHSA-259r-337f-4rfw ↗EUVD-2026-88977 ↗
description
The s2 dictionary handling in klauspost/compress versions through v1.18.6 is affected by a signed integer overflow. An attacker who can supply dictionary data to an application and cause that dictionary to be used for encoding can terminate the process.
mitigation
Upgrade klauspost/compress/s2 to v1.18.7 or later. Until upgraded, do not accept untrusted S2 dictionary data for use with the affected dictionary encoding path.
fixed in v1.18.7
outcome
No artifact: an exploit or check was attempted but could not be produced at this moment.
