CVE-2026-63030
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.GHSA-ff9f-jf42-662q ↗EUVD-2026-45280 ↗
description
WordPress 6.9.x before 6.9.5 and 7.0.x before 7.0.2 contain a route-confusion flaw in the REST API batch endpoint. An attacker can use it together with the related SQL injection vulnerability to perform SQL injection and potentially execute code remotely; exploitation depends on that separate SQL injection issue being present.
mitigation
Upgrade WordPress 6.9 installations to 6.9.5 or later, and 7.0 installations to 7.0.2 or later. Apply the fix for the related SQL injection vulnerability as well.
fixed in 6.9.5, 7.0.2
outcome
Upstream: a detection for this already ships elsewhere, so we didn't generate a new one. The credit goes to whoever did.
