description

DirectoryPress versions through 3.6.27 are affected by a local file inclusion vulnerability. An unauthenticated remote attacker may cause the PHP application to load local files; no further deployment preconditions are stated in the evidence.

mitigation

Restrict untrusted network access to deployments using affected versions and run PHP with least-privilege filesystem permissions. Monitor for a vendor update and upgrade when a fixed DirectoryPress release is published; no fixed version is recorded in the advisory.

outcome

Upstream: a detection for this already ships elsewhere, so we didn't generate a new one. The credit goes to whoever did.
