description

Cloud Foundry CAPI exposes internal v3 staging callback functionality without the intended authentication controls. An attacker with a valid build or droplet identifier can falsify staging state and add process or sidecar metadata; a SpaceAuditor may be able to obtain such identifiers without write permission.

mitigation

Upgrade CAPI to v1.247.0 and cf-deployment to 60.7.0 or later. Restrict public access to the affected internal staging callback endpoints until the upgrade is complete.

fixed in v1.247.0, 60.7.0
