description

UgCS server versions before 6.2 are affected by an authentication bypass in the HCI login service. An unauthenticated network attacker can gain a privileged session when TCP port 3334 is reachable and the server has exactly one configured user, potentially allowing control of connected drones or changes to flight routes.

mitigation

Upgrade UgCS to version 6.2 or later. Until the upgrade is complete, restrict TCP port 3334 to trusted management networks and prevent untrusted hosts from reaching it.

fixed in 6.2
