description

DataGerry versions before 3.3.0 are affected by server-side template injection in document API templates. An authenticated user with permission to add templates can cause command execution under the DataGerry web process account when a stored template is rendered.

mitigation

Upgrade DataGerry to version 3.3.0 or later. Until upgraded, restrict the base.docapi.template.add permission to trusted administrators and limit rendering of untrusted templates.

fixed in 3.3.0
