CVE-2026-57201
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.GHSA-x348-j6c9-77f3 ↗EUVD-2026-111220 ↗
description
Affected Asterisk and Certified Asterisk releases contain a stack buffer overflow in the H.323 trace-logging path. A remote attacker may crash the Asterisk process by sending network traffic when the non-default chan_ooh323 driver is installed and its port is publicly reachable.
mitigation
Upgrade Asterisk to 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1, or 23.4.1, or Certified Asterisk to 20.7-cert11 or 22.8-cert3. Until upgraded, remove or disable chan_ooh323 where it is not needed and restrict access to its port.
fixed in 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1, 20.7-cert11, 22.8-cert3
outcome
No artifact: an exploit or check was attempted but could not be produced at this moment.
