description

Asterisk deployments using the optional chan_ooh323 driver are affected in the listed 21, 22, and 23 release lines before their respective fixed versions. A remote party able to reach the driver's port can send malformed signaling data that crashes Asterisk; the driver must have been explicitly built and installed.

mitigation

Upgrade Asterisk to 21.12.3, 22.10.1, or 23.4.1, or upgrade Certified Asterisk to 22.8-cert3. Until upgraded, disable or remove chan_ooh323 and restrict network access to its port.

fixed in 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1, 22.8-cert3
