description

Contact Form by WPForms (wpforms-lite) versions through 2.0.3 are affected by reflected cross-site scripting. An attacker may cause script execution in a victim's browser if the victim interacts with a crafted request or link.

mitigation

Upgrade to a release newer than 2.0.3 when a vendor-fixed version is available. Until then, reduce exposure by limiting access to untrusted links and monitoring for suspicious requests targeting WordPress forms.

Upstream: a detection for this already ships elsewhere, so we didn't generate a new one. The credit goes to whoever did.
