description

Finsys Dockhand versions earlier than 1.0.40 can accept Git webhook-triggered stack redeployments without proper authentication. A remote attacker can cause redeployments and disrupt service; host compromise may be possible if the attacker can also modify the repository branch used by a stack.

mitigation

Upgrade dockhand to version 1.0.40 or later. Until the upgrade is complete, limit access to Git webhook endpoints to trusted sources and restrict write access to tracked deployment branches.

fixed in 1.0.40
