CVE-2026-48173
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.GHSA-r3gq-g37j-r82w ↗EUVD-2026-117265 ↗
description
Affected Samsung Semiconductor Exynos processors and modems mishandle a length field in NAS messages, which can cause memory corruption. An attacker must be able to cause an affected device or modem to process a malformed NAS message; the evidence does not specify further access or authentication preconditions.
mitigation
Install the September 2026 security update provided for affected Exynos-based devices and modem products. Obtain and apply current device, modem, and carrier updates where applicable.
fixed in September 2026
outcome
Contextual, not validated: no deterministic check could cover this one, and no technique passed our review.
