CVE-2026-44977
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.GHSA-jqp4-p86c-phxc ↗EUVD-2026-102918 ↗
description
Countly Server versions before 24.05.50 and 25.03.44 mishandle files uploaded through the star-rating feedback feature. A non-global application administrator can cause active content to be retained and later run in a global administrator's Countly session when that administrator views a feedback preview. This requires an attacker with the applicable application-administrator access and a global administrator to open the preview.
mitigation
Upgrade countly-server to 24.05.50 or 25.03.44. Until upgrading, restrict non-global application administrator access and avoid opening untrusted feedback previews.
fixed in 25.03.44, 24.05.50
outcome
Contextual: an exploit technique exists, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
