description

SonicOS SSLVPN deployments using SAML authentication are affected by an authentication-enforcement flaw. An attacker who has valid credentials accepted by a different authentication method may access SSLVPN without satisfying the SAML policy, including its MFA requirement.

mitigation

Disable or tightly restrict alternate SSLVPN authentication methods where SAML-enforced MFA is required. Limit SSLVPN exposure to trusted networks and apply SonicWall remediation when the vendor provides it.
