description

ByteCoreStack – MCP Connector for AI Tools for WordPress is affected through version 1.2.3. An authenticated Subscriber-level or higher user can modify role-related account metadata and obtain Administrator privileges. Exploitation requires access to an authenticated WordPress account and the plugin's MCP endpoint.

mitigation

Disable the plugin or restrict access to its MCP endpoint until a corrected release is available. Review WordPress accounts and role assignments for unexpected Administrator privileges.
