description

Rank Math SEO for WordPress through version 1.0.276 is affected by PHP object injection in a REST API endpoint that deserializes untrusted input. An authenticated attacker with Contributor-level or higher access may inject PHP objects and, where a suitable POP chain is present, execute code on the site.

mitigation

Restrict Contributor and higher WordPress accounts to trusted users, review existing accounts, and remove unnecessary access. Limit access to the affected REST API endpoint where operationally feasible, and apply a vendor update when a fixed release is published.
