description

Maximo Application Suite Location Service for Esri versions 9.0, 9.1, and 9.2 are affected by insufficient validation of a container image reference in a Kubernetes operator template. An attacker able to influence that reference may cause an untrusted or unintended image reference to be used; the available evidence does not further define the impact.

mitigation

Restrict who can modify operator templates and image-reference configuration, and allow images only from approved registries with pinned, reviewed references. Validate deployed templates and image sources before applying them to clusters.
