CVE-2026-17360
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.GHSA-p6f4-mq8g-jggf ↗EUVD-2026-118745 ↗
description
IBM API Connect versions 12.1.0.0 through 12.1.1.2 are affected by hard-coded credentials. A remote attacker could use the exposed credentials to obtain full administrative control; the advisory indicates no authentication or user interaction prerequisite.
mitigation
Upgrade to a vendor release newer than 12.1.1.2 after confirming the vendor's fixed-version guidance. Until then, reduce exposure by restricting network access to API Connect management interfaces to trusted administrators and networks.
outcome
Contextual check: a technique exists and was validated, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
source signals
