description

MBD-X12STW-F systems are affected by input validation weakness in BMC syslog handling. An attacker who already has BMC-level access may cause operating-system commands to run after the related service restarts. Limit access to the BMC management interface to reduce exposure.

mitigation

Restrict BMC network access to trusted administrators and isolate it from untrusted networks. Monitor the vendor's BMC firmware advisories and apply an update when a corrected release is published.
