description

IBM DataPower Gateway releases 10.5.0.0–10.5.0.22, 10.6.0.0–10.6.0.10, 10.6.1–10.6.6, and 11.0.0.0–11.0.0.2 are affected. An attacker able to reach an affected gateway could cause a denial of service through a heap-based buffer overflow.

mitigation

Restrict network access to affected DataPower Gateway services to trusted sources and monitor them for availability issues. Apply an IBM-provided fixed release when one is confirmed; no fixed version is recorded in the available advisory data.

Check only, differential: the check fires on the vulnerable build and is silent on the patched one.
