description

CA300-PoE firmware 6.2c.884 contains a buffer overflow in its Wi-Fi repeater configuration CGI handler. A remote attacker with elevated access may trigger memory corruption through that management functionality.

mitigation

Restrict device management access to trusted administrative networks and prevent exposure of the CGI management interface to the internet. Monitor for and apply a vendor firmware update when one becomes available.
