description

imgproxy versions 4.0.0 through 4.0.15 are affected by an integer overflow while loading ICO images. An attacker who can cause the service to process a malicious ICO file may corrupt process memory, potentially causing a crash or executing code.

mitigation

Upgrade imgproxy to version 4.0.16 or later. Until upgrading, restrict untrusted ICO image processing where operationally feasible.

fixed in 4.0.16
