description

Event Tickets Manager for WooCommerce releases earlier than 1.6.0 inadequately protect ticket transfers for guest-checkout attendees. An unauthenticated attacker can reassign another attendee’s ticket, invalidate the original ticket, and cause its PDF containing attendee information to be emailed elsewhere; a transferable guest-checkout ticket is required.

Still under analysis: more detail becomes available as the pipeline runs.

mitigation

Upgrade Event Tickets Manager for WooCommerce to version 1.6.0 or later. Until upgraded, restrict access to the ticket-transfer functionality and review guest-checkout ticket transfers for unexpected changes.
