description

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 installations with the listed crash or GDB-related packages are affected by a length-validation error in gdbserver's agent-expression parsing. An unauthenticated network attacker may obtain uninitialized process memory and disrupt gdbserver if they can reach a running gdbserver instance.

mitigation

Restrict gdbserver access to trusted administrative networks or disable it where it is not required. Apply Red Hat updates for the affected packages when available; no fixed version is recorded in the supplied advisory data.

outcome

Contextual check: a technique exists and was validated, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
