CVE-2026-121609
validatingZero is analyzing and reversing it now.GHSA-mmm6-v93x-r6rc ↗EUVD-2026-116692 ↗
description
Whole Home Router M5 version 4.0.17.1566 contains embedded credentials in a boot-script function. A remote attacker may be able to abuse those credentials; the advisory does not identify a prerequisite beyond remote reachability.
Still under analysis: more detail becomes available as the pipeline runs.
mitigation
Restrict router administration and any related services to trusted internal networks, and disable internet-facing management access. Monitor vendor updates for a corrected firmware release, as no fixed version is recorded.
outcome
Run in progress: no artifact yet.
source signals
