description

Axxon One web clients before 3.0.0 on Windows and Linux may leave the built-in administrator account usable with its initial password after installation. A remote unauthenticated attacker could obtain administrator access when the system is newly deployed and the default credentials remain unchanged.

mitigation

Upgrade Axxon One to version 3.0.0. Change the built-in administrator password on existing deployments and restrict access to the web client until the upgrade is complete.

fixed in 3.0.0
