description

SureCart for WordPress through version 4.9.5 can allow an unauthenticated attacker to obtain a session for another WordPress user, including an administrator. Exploitation depends on the public passwordless-code login flow lacking effective persistent limits on verification attempts.

mitigation

Block or restrict public access to SureCart’s passwordless-code request and verification REST endpoints at a WAF or reverse proxy, and enforce durable account- and source-based rate limits where possible. No fixed release is recorded; monitor for a vendor update and apply it promptly.
