description

ThinLinc's browser-based tlwebaccess client is affected in versions 4.1.0 through 4.20.0. An authenticated attacker may exploit multi-stage sign-in handling to access another user's account, potentially including an administrator account; the issue requires access to an authenticated login flow.

mitigation

Upgrade ThinLinc to 4.15.1, 4.16.1, 4.17.1, 4.18.1, 4.19.1, or 4.20.1, as appropriate for your deployment. Restrict access to tlwebaccess to trusted users and networks until the update is installed.

fixed in 4.15.1, 4.16.1, 4.17.1, 4.18.1, 4.19.1, 4.20.1
