description

Hyperswitch builds before 2026.10.19.0 do not properly authorize payout confirmation requests. An attacker with a merchant publishable key and a payout identifier could confirm a payout and alter payout settings, potentially causing unauthorized merchant payouts.

mitigation

Upgrade Hyperswitch to version 2026.10.19.0 or later. Restrict exposure of merchant publishable keys and payout identifiers until the upgrade is complete.

fixed in 2026.10.19.0
