description

@hapi/content versions through 6.0.2 can spend excessive CPU parsing malformed Content-Disposition parameters. An unauthenticated attacker can delay or block a Node.js service by submitting a multipart request to a route that accepts multipart payloads, or where untrusted headers are passed to Content.disposition().

mitigation

Upgrade @hapi/content to version 6.0.3 or later. Until upgraded, set a low payload.maxBytes limit on multipart routes and restrict exposure of routes that accept multipart uploads.

fixed in 6.0.3
