CVE-2026-119197
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.GHSA-mm57-4v3p-rchx ↗EUVD-2026-113353 ↗
description
pyasn1 versions before 0.6.5 can consume excessive CPU when decoding attacker-controlled ASN.1 data containing a large binary REAL value. An attacker needs a path that passes untrusted ASN.1 input to BER, CER, or DER decoding and may cause availability loss by tying up decoding workers.
mitigation
Upgrade pyasn1 to version 0.6.5 or later. Until upgrades are complete, restrict untrusted ASN.1 input reaching pyasn1 decoders and apply input-size limits where possible.
fixed in 0.6.5
outcome
No artifact: an exploit or check was attempted but could not be produced at this moment.
