description

Optimole WordPress plugin versions through 4.2.17 are affected by stored cross-site scripting. An unauthenticated attacker can cause script to run in a visitor's browser when the affected page is viewed, if the plugin is connected and its image replacer is enabled.

mitigation

Disable Optimole's image replacer or disconnect the plugin until a vendor update is confirmed to address the issue. Review affected pages for unexpected injected content before re-enabling the feature.
