description

The Kubeflow Pipelines API server can use excessive memory while expanding compressed pipeline archives submitted through multipart upload processing. A party that can reach the affected upload endpoints may cause service disruption even if pipeline creation is later denied by authorization checks.

mitigation

Upgrade github.com/kubeflow/pipelines to 0.0.0-20260831164314-ba9ae72cc860. Until the upgrade is deployed, limit access to pipeline upload and import endpoints and enforce request and resource limits at the deployment layer.
