description

SimpleForm for WordPress versions through 3.10.2 are affected by an arbitrary file-upload vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker may upload a file that could lead to code execution when a publicly accessible page includes a SimpleForm form.

mitigation

Disable the plugin or remove publicly accessible SimpleForm forms until a patched release is available. Restrict access to affected sites and configure the web server to prevent execution of uploaded files as defense in depth.
