CVE-2026-117604
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.GHSA-xgqw-2hp2-cf72 ↗EUVD-2026-110928 ↗
description
Grav 1.7.53.3 through versions before 1.7.53.6 can incorrectly authorize access to Clockwork profiler data. An unauthenticated remote user may read stored profiler records, potentially exposing administrator passwords and configuration credentials, when Grav is deployed behind a same-host reverse proxy that makes requests appear local.
mitigation
Upgrade Grav to version 1.7.53.6. Until the upgrade is complete, restrict external access to the Clockwork profiler endpoint and avoid proxy configurations that present remote clients as loopback.
fixed in 1.7.53.6
outcome
Differential: the exploit fired on the vulnerable build and stayed silent on the patched one.
