description

Pugongying X5 Pro 7.6.1 is affected in the Ser2net component. A remote attacker may inject carriage-return and line-feed characters by influencing the regmsg input, where the affected service is reachable.

Still under analysis: more detail becomes available as the pipeline runs.

mitigation

Restrict access to the Ser2net service to trusted management networks and disable it where it is not needed. Monitor the vendor for an updated firmware release, as no fixed version is recorded.
