description

Halo through 2.27.0-beta.1 is affected by a path traversal issue in its View Name Resolver. A remote unauthenticated attacker may manipulate a template-related argument to traverse paths. The evidence does not establish the scope of accessible files or a vendor-provided workaround.

mitigation

Upgrade to a release newer than 2.27.0-beta.1 after confirming it contains a fix; the evidence does not identify a fixed version. Until then, restrict untrusted remote access to affected Halo instances, especially routes that can influence template selection.
