description

Travisun Opptrix 0.4.0 is affected by code injection in the system-update import endpoint. A remote unauthenticated attacker may inject code if they can reach that endpoint. The project is deprecated and unsupported.

mitigation

Remove or replace Opptrix 0.4.0 where possible. Until it is retired, restrict the application to localhost or otherwise block untrusted access to the system-update import endpoint.

outcome

Contextual: an exploit technique exists, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
