description

Plack deployments using vulnerable HTTP::Server::PSGI releases can be forced to exhaust memory while handling an HTTP request. A remote client must be able to reach the server and submit a request that claims an excessively large body length; the service may terminate before the application handles the request.

mitigation

Upgrade Plack to version 1.0056 or later. Until upgraded, restrict untrusted access to affected HTTP::Server::PSGI endpoints and enforce request-size limits at a reverse proxy where possible.

fixed in 1.0056
