CVE-2026-115384
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.GHSA-6fff-wrjr-wjxr ↗EUVD-2026-108311 ↗
description
Wasmtime releases from 39.0.0 through 48.0.3, and 49.0.0 through 49.0.1, are affected when using component-model asynchronous callbacks. A malicious guest component can trigger native stack corruption, potentially terminating the host process or breaking guest isolation. Exploitation requires the host to process an attacker-controlled component with incompatible async callback result types.
mitigation
Upgrade to Wasmtime 48.0.4 or 49.0.2, as appropriate for your release line. Until upgraded, do not run untrusted components that use component-model asynchronous callbacks.
fixed in 48.0.4, 49.0.2
outcome
Contextual: an exploit technique exists, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
source signals
Public signals that triggered or updated the pipeline. These are inputs for the deltas above.
