CVE-2026-114141
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.GHSA-4qx8-w7c3-pj3p ↗EUVD-2026-107552 ↗
description
The npm toml package before 5.0.1 can perform excessive synchronous work while parsing TOML documents with many array-of-tables headers. An attacker who can cause an application to parse a supplied TOML document may block the Node.js event loop and disrupt service.
mitigation
Upgrade the npm toml package to version 5.0.1 or later. Until upgraded, restrict untrusted TOML input and enforce limits on document size and table counts before parsing.
fixed in 5.0.1
outcome
Contextual: an exploit technique exists, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
