description

Apostrophe versions before 4.33.0 can retain rejected uploads in the system temporary directory when handling rich-text CSV conversion requests. An unauthenticated attacker able to obtain the normal public CSRF cookie could repeatedly consume temporary-disk space and disrupt services sharing that filesystem.

mitigation

Upgrade the npm apostrophe package to version 4.33.0 or later. Restrict access to the affected upload route until the upgrade is deployed.

fixed in 4.33.0
